On our most resent trip to Europe we have found most unusual shop producing very interesting oil lamps, friendship balls and garden balls. Oil lamps are 10" in diameter and have very nice iron base.As you can see from the picture bottle with oil and wick slides into the lamp and hangs in the wire stand. Gazing and friendship balls are 8" in diameter. We have 10 different varieties in all 3 categories. Five are what we call a honeycomb finish and are in single color. Honeycombs created in process of blowing the ball enhance the effect of the light passing true. The other five have multicolor finish with one of the colors being predominant.
